Independence Day with Jimmy Flame and the Sexxy Boys at The Comet
It's been years since I've been to the Comet Tavern, but I just haven't had a good reason to go. But now I have a reason to go. Jimmy Flame and the Sexxy Boys are playing at the Comet tomorrow night, Saturday, July 4. They are loud, they are rock 'n roll, they are punk, they put on an incredibly fun show, and I always have a good time at a Jimmy Flame show. I can't think of a better way to celebrate my country's independence than to get tinnitus and have beer spilled on me. Like Jimmy Flame would say, "Oow!"

One of the most fun local bands to see live in Seattle, Jimmy Flame and the Sexxy Boys, is playing tonight at King Cobra with Blackie, a Blondie cover band which includes members of Hells Bells. It promises to be a good time for all as long as no one attending is prissy.
